Late-News Abstract Submission

If you missed the abstract deadline, you are still welcome to share your latest work at NANOMED. Deadline: Nov. 8, 2024

Special notes for Late-News Abstracts:

  • Page limit: Up to 2 pages in length.
  • Late-News Abstracts will be accepted for Poster Presentation only.
  • Late-News Abstracts will NOT be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other A&I databases.

Abstract Requirements

  • You will submit a single PDF that conforms to the manuscript preparation guidelines. In particular, you should use the provided templates.
  • The Microsoft Word template can be downloaded here.
  • Paper size: As for IEEE conferences, the paper size for submission must be A4.
  • Paper format: Two-column format in the IEEE style is required.
  • Page limit: Up to 2 pages in length.
  • PDF file: A manuscript file needs to be converted to a PDF version for submission. Please limit the size of the PDF file to 5 Mb.

Please note: accepted Late-News abstracts will NOT be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other A&I databases.

Abstract Layout Requirements

Paper size: A4

Top margin: 36.6 mm

Bottom margin: 19 mm

Side margins: 19 mm

  • The manuscript should NOT contain any 1) Page numbers; 2) Headers; 3) Footers.
  • Author List: The author names should be listed in the order of First Name, Middle Name or Initial (if any), and then Last (Family) Name. DO NOT indicate any membership UNLESS the author is a member of the IEEE.
  • Figures: Ensure every figure in your paper is clear enough, with a standard of 300 dots per inch (dpi).
  • References: Refer to the template file below for the IEEE style of reference citations. Please do NOT use reference styles from publications of other societies or organizations.

Please note: The above basic adherence to layout specifications is expected. However, you are free to use good judgment in the presentation of your information.

You may download the Abstract Template as an aid for your formatting. This is only a standard template from the IEEE. Please modify it accordingly to fit IEEE-NANOMED requirements.
