Abstract Submission
The abstract submission deadline was August 15.
Abstract Requirements
Authors should submit an abstract (2 pages) for review by August 15. If you wish to participate in the best paper contests, you MUST submit a full paper (4 to 6 pages) for review by October 20 (not a 2-page abstract).
- You will submit a single PDF that conforms to the manuscript preparation guidelines. In particular, you should use the provided templates.
- The Microsoft Word template can be downloaded here.
- Paper size: As for IEEE conferences, the paper size for submission must be A4.
- Paper format: Two-column format in the IEEE style is required.
- Page limit: For the initial submission, a manuscript can be 4 to 6 pages in length (for a full paper) or up to 2 pages in length (for an abstract). For the final submission, a manuscript should be 4 to 6 pages, with an 2 additional pages allowed for an extra charge.
- PDF file: A manuscript file needs to be converted to a PDF version for submission. Please limit the size of the PDF file to 5 Mb.
Please note: Full papers are NOT required to present papers in the conference. Authors with accepted two-page abstracts will present their papers; however, accepted two-page abstracts will NOT be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other A&I databases. Full papers (4 to 6 pages) may be submitted after two-page abstracts are accepted, and only accepted final full papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed by other A&I databases.

You may download the Abstract Template as an aid for your formatting. This is only a standard template from the IEEE. Please modify it accordingly to fit IEEE-NANOMED requirements.
Please also see the following samples of abstracts for your information.

Sample 2: A very good example, but with some minor problems identified.
Sample 3: A good example of an abstract with some issues with the reference formatting and figure quality.
Sample 4: A good example of an abstract with figures on both pages.
